Bal Vikas Progressive School organized a skill-based workshop titled “Kaushal Bodh – Implementation of Skill Education in Classes VI to VIII” on 15 January 2026 with the objective of promoting experiential and vocational learning in school education. The workshop witnessed active participation from multiple educators from various schools of Haryana, including 20+ principals from Panipat, Sonipat, and Kurukshetra, who attended the program to support the CBSE initiative in vocational education. The sessions focused on effective tools, methodologies, and assessment strategies for integrating skill-based education within the existing curriculum, while resource persons showcased innovative approaches such as gamified learning and animation to create engaging, activity-oriented classrooms. Detailed discussions highlighted curriculum accommodation and the importance of learning by doing, emphasizing student exposure to life forms, machines, and human services to develop real-world skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal of Bal Vikas Progressive School, Ms. Anupama Shah, who underscored the growing relevance of vocational education in today’s rapidly changing world and appreciated CBSE’s efforts in organizing such forward-looking workshops, making the event an enriching and impactful initiative toward nurturing skilled, confident, and future-ready learners.
