The Bal Vikas Progressive School community is divided into four house

1. Bhabha

2. Nehru

3. Tagore

4. Vivekanand

Each house is mentored and led by a Housemaster who functions as a role model.
The house serves as a platform for the students to exhibit their skills in various activities. A multitude of activities such as Quiz contests, debates and painting competitions are held to encourage the spirit of competition among the houses. Interhouse matches are held throughout the year for the coveted sports cup. An Academic shield is also awarded to the House with the highest average percentage of marks.
Every week a house is on duty.
